Applied Immigration Law: Representing Employers - #291 - 2 Credits
Students in this class will develop their client representation skills through the vehicle of representing employers with immigration concerns. We will tackle affirmative immigration claims, such as lawfully hiring foreign labor. We will also explore employment-based crimes, such as hiring employees without a lawful right to work. Skills practiced will include writing, arguing, and negotiating. Grading will be based on class participation, assignments, and a final exam.
